“Navigating the Art World Now”

Organized by Jacqueline Sferra Rada, and moderated by Peter Duhon, This panel seeks to explore the challenges and changing landscape of navigating the art world as an artist during this post-pandemic environment. The panelists will discuss strategies for establishing relevance, visibility, and credibility during these complex times. They will confront and discuss topics such as the relevance of art galleries today, the role of social media, and community building.

Jacqueline Sferra Rada

Jacqueline Sferra Rada is a NYC-based painter, maintaining a studio in Long Island City.  She attended the Brooklyn Museum Art School and holds a BA in Fine Arts from Hunter College.  Active in the NYC arts community, she is a board member/officer of several NYC arts organizations.

Panelist: Marina Granger

Marina Press Granger holds an MA and BA in Art History. She has worked in the NYC art world, namely galleries and museums for over 15 years. After working as a gallery director for seven years, she started The Artist Advisory, which offers guidance and honest answers for artists looking to navigate the art world and reach the next level in their careers. Since starting her company in 2018, she has worked with over 100 artists.

Panelist: Audra Lambert 

Audra Lambert 

Audra Lambert is a contemporary art curator based in Brooklyn, NY. She holds an MA, In Art and Visual Culture from Lindenwood University in St Charles, MO. Lambert is curator in residence at the Yard, Williamsburg Bridge (since 2019.) She serves as Director, Amos Eno Gallery, and is a founding member of Ninth Street Collective, a group of arts administrators united around supporting artists to succeed. She has curated shows at the Arsenal Gallery, Radiator Gallery, Amos Eno Gallery, and the Center for Jewish History, among others.
