Panelist: Janna Longare

Janna Longare is a widely exhibited artist, teacher at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and long-time Board Member of TransCultural Exchange. She has been instrumental to the success of TransCultural Exchange's Conferences on International Opportunities in the Arts since their inception in 2007.

TransCultural Exchange’s mission is to foster a greater understanding of world cultures. The organization does this through large-scale, global art projects, cultural exchanges and educational programming – most notably, the only International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts. TransCultural Exchange’s next Conference returns to the US this November 4-6, 2022, in  Boston. There, artists (of all disciplines and career levels) will be able to meet with residency directors, curators, collectors, arts administrators and critics. The 2022 Conference will include workshops, panels, roundtable discussions, networking events, off-site activities, screenings, talks, tours, expanded portfolio review/mentoring sessions and an exhibitors’ hall (showcasing the latest products, additional residency programs and opportunities). More than 150 representatives from around the world will be on hand to present their programs, which support the needs of practicing artists today.
